As if snow and freezing (sometimes sub-zero) temperatures weren’t enough, we now have ice. And this isn’t the kind of ice that just crunches and breaks apart when you step on it. This stuff is solid.
Try leading a 9-month-old colt that has been cooped up in his stall for 3 days across a frozen layer of ice and snow. It’s not fun. Probably entertaining for onlookers, but in general not fun.
